Sparking Inspiration to Build Inclusive Climate Advocacy
A Future for All is an innovative climate engagement project, created to meet the needs of families with disabled children who often face unique challenges due to climate-related issues, yet their voices are often underrepresented in policy discussions.
A Future for All combines the power of the arts with impactful advocacy, engaging and empowering communities in collective climate action. Funded by The National Lottery Climate Action Fund and brought to life in partnership with Hope for the Future, Contact, Parents for Future, and the London School of Economics (LSE).
This project consists of two key elements:
Short film of A Future for All - Positive Imaginings show by Alexander Nicolaou
Positive Imaginings shows
An immersive promenade performance set in magical woodland locations. These nature-based, family-friendly shows are designed to inspire curiosity, spark action, and imagine a brighter, fairer future for all.
Climate advocacy workshops empower participants to translate their "positive imaginings" into actionable climate advocacy. With expert guidance, attendees design clear, specific asks for their politicians and learn how to engage with them effectively, driving tangible change for their communities.

Positive Imaginings ignites a spark and a mindset shift; it gives people a voice, creating agency and hope for their future, and a stepping-stone towards taking the action needed to address the climate emergency; Our climate advocacy workshops give families the tools and support to turn their imaginings into impact!
Insights that drive us. The project builds on insights gathered from research conducted in partnership with the London School of Economics and Contact. Through interviews and focus groups with parents and carers of disabled children, as well as families from low-income communities, we explored:
1. The day-to-day challenges families face related to climate issues.
2. How these groups engage with democracy and any barriers they face.
3. Attitudes toward climate action.
These insights have informed the Positive Imaginings shows and advocacy workshops, ensuring they resonate with and meet the needs of our communities.
Free Events
We warmly welcome families to our FREE events. These are designed for all families, with a particular focus on:
1. Families with disabled children.
2. Families facing financial hardship and/or impacted by economic inequality
While children of all ages are welcome, the events are designed with under-12s in mind.
Accessibility and Support. Our aim is to ensure that everyone can participate fully, and our events are as inclusive as possible. We are working with Contact Families, a charity that supports families with disabled children, to understand and address parent, carer, and children’s access needs.
Thanks to National Lottery Players we have received over £1.4 million over five years from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest community funder in the UK, to work with families to enable them to contribute to climate action within their communities. The funding is part of the Climate Action Fund Programme.
